About My Service as a

Baby Loss Counsellor

Losing a baby is one of the most painful and life-changing experiences a person can face. Whether through miscarriage, stillbirth, termination for medical reasons, or neonatal death, the grief that follows can feel overwhelming, isolating, and unlike any other kind of loss.

I know this not only as a counsellor, but also from my own personal journey. I was unprepared for the depth of emotions that followed. I remember the silence, the loneliness, and the struggle to find someone who truly understood what I was going through. That experience shaped me and my family deeply, and it’s the reason I now walk alongside others as they navigate their own loss.

As a baby loss counsellor, I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can share your story openly and safely. My role is not to tell you how you should grieve, but to honour your unique journey and provide support in a way that feels right for you.

Together, we may explore:

  • Processing grief, sadness, anger, or guilt

  • Coping with isolation or changes in relationships

  • Honouring and remembering your baby in meaningful ways

  • Navigating future pregnancies and the anxieties that can arise

  • Finding gentle steps toward healing, at your own pace

Baby loss changes you forever, but you do not have to go through it alone. My hope is to offer comfort, understanding, and guidance — from both my professional training and my personal experience — so you feel supported as you carry your baby’s memory forward.

I have had the wonderful opportunity to train with Sands. By completing such specialist training in baby loss I can support clients through the unique emotions and complexities of baby loss.
